Sarah Manongdo-Joya, OD, has been in corporate optometry/primary care for more than 17 years and has the privilege of meeting patients from all walks of life. Dr. Joya explains how she tries to create a bond with all of her patients by putting in the effort to learn their language and culture, including basic ASL (American Sign Language).
